Sunny Days Therapeutics is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed mental health therapist to provide trauma-informed telehealth therapy to Spanish-speaking justice-involved youth and young adults involved with the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) across Georgia through our secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.
This flexible 1099 independent contractor position allows clinicians to manage their caseload while working with high-risk populations, including adolescents facing trauma, behavioral challenges, and reentry-related needs.

Sunny Days Therapeutics is a growing mental health practice based in Watkinsville, GA. We are expanding our Georgia telehealth services to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to justice-involved youth and young adults throughout the state, including Spanish-speaking communities.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and/or family therapy sessions via secure telehealth to Spanish-speaking justice-involved youth and young adults in Georgia
- Conduct comprehensive mental health and diagnostic assessments
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions (CBT, TF-CBT, MI, anger management, etc.)
- Conduct suicide risk assessments and safety planning
- Support clients with trauma, behavioral disorders, substance use, and reentry challenges
- Collaborate with probation officers, courts, schools, and caregivers as clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Create a safe, supportive, and client-centered therapeutic environment
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- Active Georgia license or license-eligible (LCSW or LMSW)
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Substance Abuse Certification (CADC, CAADC, or equivalent)
- Experience working with adolescents or high-risk populations
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care
- Professional liability insurance required
