Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy sessions to students
  • Conduct assessments to determine students' mental health needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student well-being
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed to students and families

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
  • Valid state licensure as a therapist or clinical social worker or licensure eligible 
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting
  • Strong understanding of developmental psychology and school systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build rapport and engage effectively with students
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in mental health care
